Ann Wilkie – Yacht Broker
Ann’s love of the water first began a the age of 6 when her brothers set her afloat in a cement mixing tub on a small lake. Fortunately they had tied a line to the dock. and this cemented her love of the sea. Ann continued her love of boating at the age of 18 when she went sailing with friends off the coast of Miami on a beautiful 30 ft Ericson sloop. She fell in love with sailing and never refused an invitation to help crew. Her first boat in the early 70s was a Sunfish which she learned to solo sail around the Rowayton CT area. She will never forget her first storm sailing the Sunfish when she ended up a few miles up the coast, soaking wet having blown ashore in someone’s back yard. Ann later attended a 10 day Sailing Course at Annapolis Sailing School in St. Croix where she earned her OUPV Captains license. Ann has been living in Hilton Head Island for the last six years and has enjoyed boating around the southern waters of SC.
